Project Management and the Climate Crisis
Facilitator: Scott Christianson, CISSP, PMP
Do project managers have an obligation to understand and mitigate the climate issues in their projects? Should we consider the climate in terms of project or product risk? Or both? Many of our projects involve processes that release tons of CO2 and other gasses into the atmosphere. Yet much of the infrastructure that we build will operate for decades and release much more. What is the Total Cost of Carbon (TCC) for our projects? How can technology help with mitigation, forecasting, and post-project assessment? We will highlight current best practices and approaches project managers are taking.
Grab your coffee and breakfast if you choose, and plan to join us online.
